Implementing Ideas Is The Only Way You Are Going To Make Money

My good friend Armand Morin gave me a piece of advice that I am going to share with you.

Before Armand shared this with me I had been unable to reaped any financial reward from the large quantity of information I had gathered from various mentors online. This advice helped to completely change my financial future.

Using this piece of advise I was able to generate over $111,000 in revenue on one project in less than eight weeks.

This is what Armand told me -

I was excited because I had started to generate all kinds of new product ideas, new service ideas, that I wanted to package together.

I carried this excitement into a meeting I had with Armand. I opened up my lap top and loaded my Mind Mapping software and began explaining all my new ideas.

Right in front of me he grabbed my mouse, closed my Mind Mapping software and said, “Stop right there.”

He said, “Stu, it doesn’t matter how many ideas you generate, you’re only going to make money on the ones that are implemented. Focus on the implementation.” Write that down - focus on the implementation.

People aren’t going to buy just an idea. They are more likely to buy something they can see, feel, hear or experience. If you are only thinking about the money, that won’t help either because it is the finished idea that will bring the sales, not just the idea.

A great example of this was when John Reese launched Traffic Secrets. He sent physical copies to a targeted list of high-level affiliates well in advance. Why did he send them physical copies? Because when people see your ideas in a finished form, they clearly see the value that it provides versus trying to describe it to them.

Implementation is crucial for everyone to focus on. Money can’t be made until an idea is completed and you have a finished product.

When I was with Armand that day after he closed down my mind map, he got on the Internet and showed me a couple of his sites that are already selling products. Then he turned to me and said, “Okay Stu, now seeing that, I want to buy something from you. Where can I go to do this?”

I was dumbfounded. Why? Because I didn’t have my product completed, and/or products that I did have complete, I didn’t have up for sale. I didn’t have a sales letter up, I didn’t have a way that people could opt-in to find out new information, I didn’t have an auto responder series set up, I didn’t have my shopping cart set up, I didn’t have anything set up where people could buy from me.

In a matter of seconds I learned a very valuable lesson. No matter how many ideas you may have, you can only make money by selling completed ideas.

I hope that this got everyone reading this thinking about what they can do to get their product/service out there to your customer base.

You can have the greatest idea in the world but until you implement it, your business is not going to see a single cent for it!
