Most People Are Unlikely to Revisit Your Webpage Without a Reason

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008 |
by Markku Saastamoinen

Unless you provide a good reason for them to do so, a person will likely not come back to your website after visiting it. When visiting ten pages or more a day, it is not hard to forget the names or addresses of one specific site that we might have visited.

For example, if you have 1,000 visitors visit your website in a day, you will likely never see them - or their potential spending money - again. A good website owner would be able to make some of those visitors into customers. Still, if you want your customer to comeback, you need to convince them to join your mailing list!

No matter how unique the content of your website might be, it will not be enough to get people to return to your website by itself. A mailing list is the only true way to entice otherwise one-time visitors into becoming repeat visitors.

Though many visitors may not make a purchase on your website, they will still consider signing up for you mailing list if you have a simple opt-in. Your visitors name and email address are all the information you need on your opt-in.

Something that many people use as a tactic to increase their subscribers is writing articles. Quite simply, you write and submit your articles on your topic of expertise or business nature to popular article directories where eZine publishers and readers are looking for the information you provide.

Many enjoy the fruits of this viral marketing through article writing. Your worth and knowledge about the field you are in can be dazzlingly apparent in the articles.

Article writing is great because it allows you to attach a resource box that will ultimately help you build your mailing list. This tool, also called a bio box, should include information about you, such as what your site is about, and the URL of your site. As the point of the article was to get more subscribers to your mailing list, your URL should point to the landing page where new visitors can subscribe to the mailing list.

If well written, the publishers of the eZine directors will share the articles, and their resource boxes. As a result, you have a successful viral marketing without much effort on your part. The simplicity of including your details with every article you write is also a very effective one.

How To Spend Less Time Following Up With Prospects

Friday, August 22nd, 2008 |
by Lindsey

One of the most time consuming portions of any sales personas day is the follow up time spent with clients or customers. The most common complaint of any sales person is that they would like to earn more money by spending less time with clients.

Usually, all sales jobs involve commission pay, meaning that the more sales you make, the more money you will receive in return. This is a very competitive type of sales industry and it is not beneficial to be wasting time on a client who will eventually turn down the deal. If sales impacts your pay check in any way, then building enough sales is always critical.

If you have any sales marketing strategies lined up, then figuring out your most successful way to spend less time with clients while still making the sale should be your top priority. This does not mean that your sales ability is any less or poor quality. It also does not mean that you are being rude to the customer. It simply means that the more efficient you are at the sale, the more results you will get in a short amount of time.

If you watch any successful salesperson, you will see that they do not waste hours talking with clients or customers if they know the deal will go nowhere. Part of learning this particular sales strategy is to learn how to spend less time with the follow up talk, and learn how to read a customer correctly.

Once you learn to judge the customers better, you can apply this knowledge in your job. Being able to tell what kind of buyer you are talking to enables you to spend your time and energy wisely, and eventually spending much less total time on the phone and writing emails.

If you have used lead generation software, you know that it can be a useful tool in a sales strategy. However, what it does not do is think for you. Smart and educated decisions are key to spending your time economically, and to do this you need experience and training.

In return, what this all means is that you should take note of some of the most successful and wealthy business people in the sales industry. They are usually the ones who have the most turnover of products in a short amount of time. The key to selling is volume and without efficiency volume cannot become successful.

By learning how to spend less time on follow up, you will unlock resources and potential you didn’t know you had in you. Using well thought out strategies to portion your time will lead to less wasted time, and eventually more sales. Since making more sales is ultimately the safest way to consistently making more money, you will be on your way to building wealth.

We live in a world of instant gratification. Everybody is concerned about their own needs. Therefore, website owners must take the necessary steps to make sure their viral marketing program generates free traffic.

Referral programs fail for a variety of reasons…

Convincing your visitors to invite their friends is not an easy task. Most people barely have enough time to focus on their own needs, not to mention yours.

Website owners have to offer incentives in order to convince their visitors to invite their contacts. We live a very selfish world, online retailers must be able to gift customers for inviting their friends

Offering cash incentives may seem like a could idea, but…

Let’s face it, everybody likes money. However, offering cash in exchange for referrals may not be your best option. Most people feel uneasy about making money from their friends.

Automatic Redirect Is The Solution

What if you could instantly reward customers who provide referrals with low-cost, high perceived-value Free Gifts?

Nobody likes waiting around. That’s why you must be able to instantly gift your visitors.

This must be done automatically, by setting up your viral marketing campaign, and never having to worry about it again.

Think about this, your visitors invites their friends to your website by importing their contacts from their favorite web mail service. This is the best strategy.

That is EXACTLY the way that web sites like MySpace? and FaceBook? work. They have their own “Friend” adding programs that have been wildly responsible for building huge membership lists in a very short time.

5 Reasons Why TokSee Could Be the Next Internet Giant

Monday, March 24th, 2008 |
by Mark Hall

In a matter of weeks a new web 2.0 site will launch and quite possibly change the internet forever. Toksee is the new communication tool that will allow users to talk to and see their contacts online. It is a social network that focuses on things people are more passionate about.

Here are 5 critical factors that could help TokSee take the internet by storm:

1) The popularity of social networking sites is well established and growing: Here is the proof. Over 148 million people registered for web 2.0 sites like MySpace, YouTube, and Facebook. Facebook adds a million over 25 year old adults per week to their site. Youtube gets 50 million unique visitors per month. MySpace.com get over 1.6 million visitors per day. I think you get the point.

2) Users can get the TokSee widget for free. The best word on the internet is “free”. This will create a viral or word of mouth component that will quickly expand its user base.

3) Toksee will share revenues from ads and upgrades with its free users. This could be huge! Myspace, Youtube, and Facebook are great sites worth billions. However, they don’t share much revenue with the end users. Toksee will pay even its free users.

4) TokSee has the backing of a Publicly Traded Company. Wouldn’t want amateurs making decisions for such an opportunity. The parent company, Intelecom, Inc (IECM) is a 10 year old company that also markets VOIP around the world.

5) The current pre-launch status provides the opportunity to maximize earnings. The opportunity to profit is always greater if you participate early. Timing is everything. If you think this will be a good opportunity then you should register for a free account as soon as possible.
