Realtor Lead Systems

Thursday, July 24th, 2008 |

by JD Freedom

How to generate more real estate leads has always been a hot topic with Realtors. With many Realtors no longer door knocking or cold-calling, the Internet has become a focus point for Realtors looking to generate real estate leads. With fierce competition and buyers and sellers ’shopping around’ before choosing someone to represent them, Realtors now need to offer free tools such as user friendly websites that are about the client, not about the Realtor.

Below are tips how Realtors can increase their leads. Not only will these tips increase the amount of leads, but they will also show Realtors how to convert leads into sales!

Get high placement in search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Buyers and Sellers now begin their searches with top search engines so your website needs to rank high! A successful way to do this is with separate websites for Buyers and Sellers. As search criteria is different for Sellers than Buyers, you will need high ranking websites for BOTH!

Free services should be offered with your website

Instead of making your website about you, make it about your clients. An example of a free service you could offer is a CMA. You could offer this via an ‘online form’. People looking to sell don’t always like to give out their contact numbers, but usually don’t hesitate to give out their email address.

Show them you care

Daily emails of new listings is fine, but be sure to also send your client a personal email every ‘now and then’. Remember, if you forget about them, they will have long forgotten about you.

Make your website very user friendly.

Sellers searching for a CMA online don’t want to spend time on a Realtors website just to find out they need to compose a long email explaining their home. If they do end up typing a long email about their home, they will likely copy that email and send it to 10 other Realtors in your area. A Seller wants a basic template where they just fill in the fields.

Offer free Buying and Selling tools to your clients.

Most Buyers and Sellers do lots of research before choosing to work with a Realtor. Get the upper edge on your competition by offering a free eBook.

Realtors are often found offering their clients the exact same tools as any other Realtor in their office making the competition fierce. You need to differentiate yourself from the rest and explore your options. The internet has proven itself to be the way of the future for marketing Real Estate Services and with Buyers and Sellers shopping online; you MUST make sure you have a presence on ‘the net’. Having the best negotiating skills is great but if you are the only one that knows this, you will find yourself struggling to make a living in this industry.

Copywriting How To’s - Turn That Testimonial Into A Selling Tool!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008 |

by Jodie Kastner

As a copywriter, you’ll find that many of the testimonials you have access to aren’t as good as they could be. They might be too vague, or just plain boring. If that’s the case, don’t think you have to use them. Testimonials can be a great selling selling tool for a copywriter — you need to take full advantage of them.

Don’t wait for great testimonials to come to you. Go out there and get them! When you do, you’ll be able to get testimonials that highlight certain key benefits. This lets you show your prospect that someone just like him has used this product and gotten great results!

Most customers give the same type of testimonial. I call it a Before and After testimonial. He tells you the problem he had, and how this product solved it. This type of testimonial is definitely better than just saying, “I loved your product!” but in today’s market you need to go one step further.

Why do I say that? Because nowadays everyone gives Before and After testimonials. They’ve become common and after awhile they start to all sound alike. They simply aren’t as powerful as they use to be.

For great copy, you want to get richer, more powerful testimonials. The good news is it’s not that hard to do! In fact, with just a little work, you can have a pile of testimonials — each focusing on a different selling point. All you have to do is go out and get them!

The first step is to get the names and contact information of key customers. Call them up and arrange a time to “interview” them for 20-25 minutes. This will be your chance to uncover interesting, real-life stories your prospect can relate to.

When you’re finished, you are ready for the next step. This is where you take the information you just gathered and transform it into the strongest testimonial possible.

When you’re finished interviewing the customer, ask him if he’d be willing to let you use what he said as a testimonial. If he says yes, offer to type one up for him based on the conversation you just had. When it’s written, you will send it to him for his approval. Surprisingly, most people will jump at this suggestion!

As long as you’ve done a good job interviewing the customer, you’ll have a ton of great material to work with. If the customer has agreed, all you have to do is take what you’ve got and create the best testimonial possible.

Go through your interview notes and ask yourself:

* Which angle should I take?

* What selling points do I want to reinforce in my copy?

* Which one does this story support the best?

* How can I position this testimonial for maximum effect?

* Is there some part I can include that will make my prospect stop and think, “Hey, that guy sounds just like me!”

Just imagine how much more powerful and effective these type of testimonials will be. All of the different angles you can take and the great real-life tidbits that you can weave through your sales copy.

The truth is, there’s no better way to get these type of powerful testimonials. When you know how to guide the interview, you can uncover the “good stuff” quickly — every single time. Then all you need to do is take what you have and position it, and you’ve got a testimonial that will make selling your product that much easier.

You’ll have a testimonial that’s written in your customer’s words, only better. It’s laser-focused. It addresses key selling points and reveals real needs and desires that your prospect will immediately connect with. It’s a testimonial that most copywriters only dream about!

Online business directory Resources

Thursday, July 17th, 2008 |

by Ramu

Online business directories are becoming a useful tool for people around the world. A Business Directory is normally published free of charge for users. Businesses get a free listing which is usually a name, address and phone number. If they want more information displayed they have to pay a fee. The World Wide Web is where many people are turning to find all sorts of different information. Now online directories are just another useful portal where people are directed to information on the internet.

Small and Large businesses are benefiting from increased internet exposure to potential clients with these directory services. Businesses and householders can now ask for a private number which means that their number is no longer listed. This has the advantage of reducing unsolicited calls but can harm the ability of a business to generate sales. For a small yearly or monthly fee, businesses can get advanced advertising to clients through online business directories.

Online directories are useful tools for consumers as they provide instant and accurate information on particular items, services, products and companies. In the old days these were limited and barley used due to the low download speeds and the time it took to find a phone number. Companies are getting new customers by being listed on online business directories. Therefore, the potential for more sales through new customers is vastly improved for companies.

Another great benefit to being listed on an online business directory is that customers who are specifically looking for your products or services will find your company. Many people also use internet directories to enhance the ratings of their websites online. It is important that there is a live web link in your business listing and you focus only on the well known and reputable directories. Listed companies can also become a part of a networking community, where companies can benefit from enhanced business relationships.

There are millions of people searching the internet for businesses, products and services, why would you not take the opportunity to benefit from internet exposure Search engines love inbound links from quality sources but dislike link farms which just sell links. Generally speaking the more inbound links a website has the higher it appears for its search terms. Watch your business grow, as more people are able to find your website, company information, products and services using an online business directory.

Writing a Great E-Book, Part I

Thursday, July 17th, 2008 |

by Stephen Beck

While you are creating e-books, it’s important to write a quality e-book. Thin, skimpy e-books aren’t effective - you want something meaty to offer your readers. A truly great e-book is filled with information, with enough bulk to keep your audience satisfied.

Skinny e-books that have little information are often returned, eating away at your profits. On the other hand, an e-book with strong content increases reader satisfaction, which means more profits and fewer refunds. You want to offer a strong, beefy e-book, one that is loaded with value for your clients. So how can you put your PDF e-books on steroids for better performance? Read on, and I’ll show you!

First, add a table of contents. I am always surprised at the number of ebooks that don’t have a simple table of contents. Not only will it help your customer find his way around, it also adds about 2-3 pages to your ebook!

At the back of your book, include a list of valuable resources. Since you wrote the book, you are the expert (at least in the eyes of your audience). You’ve researched tons of information, but not all of it will fit in your book. Give your readers the chance to delve into a topic further - include links to web sites and blogs, as well as a list of books in print which you used to write your e-book. This is a valuable service for your readers, one that shouldn’t be left out.

For your readers, I suggest you include a list of:

- Print books on your topic;

- Magazines and e-zines;

- Videos and movies on YouTube and other sources;

- List of web sites on your topic

- User forums and user groups; Blogs (your own or those of others);

For each link, include a short description of the resource to help your readers further. Tell them what information they can find using that link, and how it can help them. This adds more value than a simple list of links, with no rhyme or reason.

Stay tuned for my next article, when I offer three great strategies to bulk up your e-book, increase customer satisfaction, and improve sales. By publishing ebooks with loads of content, you make it an irresistible value.

Hype and scam. What is the difference?

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008 |

by Lucas Heijn

Do you want to start an online business? Work from home? You are not alone in your quest. You have probably already looked at many things and some of these have cost you money. I want you to imagine you’re looking through your newspaper in the classified ads columns, and you come across an ad that reads something like this “Profitable Business Ready To Go” it’s an ice cream franchise.

You just love the ice cream, and this looks like the best business to be in. You find that the price includes a new ice cream van as well as ice cream making material. The more you look into it the better it sounds. You decide to buy the franchise. And then find that the area that you have got is an industrial area with no residents. So you have a beautiful new ice cream van, ice cream making material, but no customers. So, in fact, you have no business.

Products you may have bought on the Internet may have ended up exactly the same. Beautiful website, great product, no customers. You would have spent time editing the site and making sure the payment buttons worked. After checking that everything worked just as it should, you sat back and waited for the sales to come in. And then what happened? Nothing. Very disappointing.

This website, you just put up is just like that ice cream van. It looks great. It even works great. Youve tested those payment buttons and they all work. But you make no sales. You have no customers.

When you bought the business. You were told you could be making money within 24 hours. This was hype.

So is there a difference between hype and being scammed? Well, there really is some difference. Hype is often not total untruth. It often stretches the truth to make something appear better than it really is. The thing that makes hype similar to scamming is the fact that both are after your money. Hype is used to convince you to buy.

The difference is a scammer is much like a con man. The scammer uses totally dishonest means, total untruth to get you to part with your money. They often pose as something they’re not. I’m sure you have received e-mails from people posing as PayPal asking you go to the site and fill in your login details. With this information, they can fraudulently use your account your money.

Hype, on the other hand offers you a legitimate product, but it over states the truth. Any product on the Internet that promises you instant success is hype. If you want to start a business on the Internet there is no such thing as instant profits. Anyone that promises you other wise is stretching the truth.

Whether you want to build a business online or off-line, it will take time. You need to build customer trust. They need to believe that you will be there for the long haul. Most important, you need to build a customer base.

Remember our ice cream van? Great new van. Plenty of products. No customers. Your new website is exactly the same. Nobody knows you’re there. You need to draw traffic to your new site. This doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a process that takes a lot of time and hard work.

To get traffic to your site is really another subject. I will explain this in another article.

The Law Of Attraction and Appreciation

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008 |

by Rebecca Hicks

If the Law of Attraction works, you will surely appreciate all that you receive as a result of practicing it. Life will be easier and more abundant. However, you actually need to start out with a feeling of appreciation before you can expect good things to come. This is what the Law of Attraction is about.

Can you believe amazing and wonderful things are already happening for you? If you can than you will be so much more appreciative and joyful. The core teachings behind the Law of Attraction is belief, not just faith, but belief. Belief along with being appreciative for something sends out positive vibrations around you and you become an attraction magnet. This brings the good things to you that you are seeking by way of the Law of Attraction.

Without even giving thought of the future, you will use LOA to bring in many wonderful things to you. When you begin on a foundation of gratitude for the many things in your life, you are then focused on the good energy that comes from a happy and grateful mind. The Laws of Attraction become apparent because like attracts like and so being grateful brings you more to be grateful for.

Think of the way things snowball, both the good and the bad. You might wake up in a bad mood because you resent a noisy neighbor for keeping you up late. If you let that bad mood win out, more negative things will continue to happen to you all day long. When you consider the Law of Attraction, you will see why this happens.

Now consider if you take control of your mood and decide to brush off these bad feelings. You now replace them with thoughts of gratitude and appreciation. Now you have a surprisingly better day. By applying the Law of Attraction to help you along you will be much more thankful that you woke up and have these lovely children, or you might be thankful that you have good health and decent income. Whatever it is, the using the Law of Attraction will make it easier for you.

How exactly does the Law of Attraction work? By using a system of appreciation that then brings you rewards. The most important thing is that you want to find a way to constantly remind yourself about what you are thankful for. What are some of the good things in your life. Set aside time in your day when you can think about or list the things you appreciate. You might find it valuable to keep a journal and review your dream items from time to time.

The Law of Attraction is built on good habits. You can carry some sort of talisman. It can be anything from a rock to a coin. This is what rosary or meditation beads are for. They aide a person in centering on what is important in their lives. It can be anything you will handle daily. Some people put these items in their pockets. Some put them on a string around their necks.

The idea is that every time you touch it, you feel appreciation. If at all possible, you express that appreciation to others. Your mind will become geared towards thinking in terms of what you are thankful for. This will allow the Law of Attraction to do its work.

As you have now seen, it is your mind that is in control of who and what you are. When you use the Law of Attraction it can also expand what you have. If you seek to have better relationships, or health or a better job, this is how you do it. Your mindset and focus on appreciation puts you in a position to allow the Law of Attraction to bring you all that you desire.
