Internet Profit - Making Money With Blogs

Whilst in section two of the book you will learn about the different kind of content you can use in your blog. In this section of the book, the author covers everything from using PLR articles to original content. In here, you will also find out how to get unique content posted to your blog regularly and completely for free and which will help you to develop yours in no time at all.

Of all the sections in the book Section three is the jewel in the crown as far as I am concerned. In here the author clearly explains the different ways in which one is able to monetize a WordPress blog. However, it may take some time to complete this section as the author provides indepth information on how he himself made a $15,000 income through just one blog post. In fact of all the sections of the book this is probably the one that really offers you value for money. As not only does he explain how he made money himself but also shows ways in which you can make money with your blog offline. There are plenty of plans out there which state that you should be able to $$$$ in just 30 days, but which are simply not achievable. However, with the plan in this book the author explains how you could be earning an extra $1,000 per week by the end of 2008.

When taken as a whole WordPress Goldmine is a superb guide to help with affiliate marketing. By using commonsense over unnecessary hype certainly made a pleasant change and could well lead to more internet marketers actually producing books of a calibre similar to this one.

It is not often that an e-book is published on a certain subject, which clearly shows just how useless others already available are. With the publication of WordPress Goldmine this is just what has happened. Where most of the other affiliate marketing guides ask you to focus on finding the right product through Clickbank and then creating blog in order to market it. With WordPress Goldmine you will find that this is not what you need to do. Instead through this book you will learn about different aspects concerning not only finding the right domain names abut also the right products to promote on your sites.

When you get to section 4 of the book here you will shown the various ways to promote the sites that you have built. In this section you will find a very easy to follow diagram and a list of sites which can make the difference between yours being a success or failure. Of all the sections this is probably, the most important of them as very rarely will someone offer to provide details of a traffic generation system which one can easily master.

Section one of the book looks at the ways of using WordPress for building blogs and takes you through the various phases of not just setting up but also running your blog in the shortest amount of time. Included within this section of the book are some bonus videos that will further help you to understand the whole process of making blogs from beginning to end.

Blogging Fundamental Principles

Monday, January 7th, 2008 |
by Zigfred Diaz

After going through several blogs and books on blogging, making money out of your blog or website and marketing on the internet, it has been my observation that all bloggers agree on certain things that each successful blogger has religiously followed throughout the years. Here are the principles I observed:

1.) Keep the fire of Passion burning - The topic on your blogs should be topics on things that you are passionate about. It must be on things that you have somewhat achieved a level of expertise in, things that puts you on fire, things that makes your eyes wide open when discussed about, things that amazes and awes you.

2.) People First ! - People should be the primary consideration when writing in your blog. This should be kept in mind, although search engine optimization is something that should be seriously considered by all bloggers. The most important thing is that people keep coming back to your site because the posts in your blog actually helps them or is relevant to them. Things like keywords, tags or any other gimmick out there in order to make sure that we all each get a higher search engine should be of secondary consideration. Legendary blogger John Chow aptly said it when he said “People First before Google.”

3.) Blog frequently - The length of the post is not as important as it’s frequency. Posts may be long or short depending on the topic covered. What is important about the blog is that the blogger frequently updates his blogs.

4.) Just blog - If you are a new blogger, don’t worry about your site statistics or that you still do not have comments on your site. Just blog away ! It takes a while for search engines to index your site. Also if you write good posts and you are blogging for people the traffic will just flow.

5.) Learn more about blogging - Bloggers should not stop learning about how to be more effective in their craft. Learn more about topics on how to be effective on your blogging, about search engine optimization, etc. The moment you stop learning, you stop to blog.

6.) Be a reader - There is nothing to blog about if you do not read. You must have an appetite for learning and a zeal to tell others what you have learned.

7.) Be organized, schedule the topics you blog about - Having a blogging schedule will force you to come up with something to blog about. Others may disagree with this idea as they just write on whatever they feel about writing. For me personally, I work best when I submit myself to an organized way of doing things. In addition to that, following a blog schedule will help me have a balanced number of posts on the categories that I blogging on.

8.) Be personal - Inject some humor if you have to ! Your readers must feel as if you they are talking to a pal when they read your blog. The language and words you use should be so understandable that your readers should not have to resort to a dictionary before they could understand what you are trying to say. Explain things in layman’s term as much as possible, even if the subject matter is so technical.

9.) Aim for the best ! - Aiming for the best does not only apply in school or at work, it very much well applies when it comes to blogging. Among other things, you must go over and edit your posts. You must make sure your presentation and layout are user friendly and not an eye sore.

10.) Blog for life - Don’t view blogging as something that you are temporarily doing just because you don’t have anything to do as of now or something which you do in order to achieve a certain amount of money and afterwards you will then stop blogging since you have already achieved your goal. Plan to blog for life. Blogging may bring you monetary “blessings.” However always consider that such is only secondary. As you go about your day to day experience, having an attitude of blogging for life will make you further appreciate such experiences since you will looking forward to writing it to on your next posts.

Blogging For Traffic

Monday, March 19th, 2007 |

If you are looking for a way to drive traffic to your website, look to your blog. Blogs are an excellent way to communicate with your target market and invite them to visit your site. Here are some tips you can use to blog for traffic.

Post on your blog regularly; at least 3 times a week. By updating your blog on a regular basis, you are giving your readers a reason to keep referring back to your blog. If you are providing timely and informative posts, your readers will see you as an expert in your field. They will turn to your blog as a way to seek answers to their questions. Posting regularly also develops a relationship between you and your customer. They will get to know you and trust your opinion.

By installing a feed burner onto your blog, you will make it easier to keep in contact with your customers. Your readers will be able to subscribe to your blog and choose to have new posts delivered right to their email or computer’s homepage. There are several services to choose from, and you can get a basic service for free. Setting up the service is easy; you simply install a small piece of HTML code onto your blog.

You can also opt to have a “blog roll” or list of blogs your readers may find helpful on the side of your page. If you put the link to another blog on your page, ask for a link back to your blog, too. This can help widen your audience, as readers of others’ blogs will see the link to your blog and check it out. Just remember to keep your target market in mind. It doesn’t make sense to trade links with just any blog.

One of the best, and easiest, ways to drive traffic to your website through your blog is to link back to your site as you post. Each time you put a new article on your site, you can write a “teaser” post containing an excerpt of the article and include a “read more” link to the page on your site that features the complete text. Also include links to older articles that become timely again. For instance, you may have put up an article on your site in the summer that explains how to keep kids occupied by creating costumes. When Halloween comes around, don’t forget to link back to that article. You may also want to include links to your opt-in pages or pages.

As you start practicing these strategies check your page stats and see how many visitors are coming to your site through links placed on your blog. You will get a better idea of what is working and will be able to increase traffic even further.
